As an amateur drag racer, I wanted to upgrade from the basic wheels and tires my car came with to really maximize my launches and improve ETs. The owner of my local speed shop recommended Rocket Wheels Vapor drag wheels. I went with the 15" rear wheels in gloss black. Right away I noticed how much lighter these wheels are than my old ones. Combined with some soft compound Mickey Thompson drag radials, my 60' times have improved by over a tenth of a second thanks to reduced rotating mass. I drive a lifted 2018 Silverado 2500HD that I use for weekend trail rides and towing my boat. I wanted a more rugged wheel/tire combo better suited for off-roading than the street tires my truck came with. As a college student, I drive a 2013 Scion FR-S that I like to tinker with and modify on a budget. I decided to upgrade from the plain stock wheels to something more stylish and performance oriented. I'm an avid Baja and desert off-road racer. When it came time to upgrade my Trophy Truck, I chose Rocket Wheels Raptor Beadlocks for their strength, durability, and light weight. Made from forged 6061 aluminum, these things can withstand tremendous abuse from jumps and rock strikes while saving precious pounds compared to most steel beadlock wheels. The beadlock design lets me air down for insane traction in soft sand and dirt with no risk of de-beading a tire. I drive a highly modified 2009 Subaru WRX STI that I use for time attack racing and drifting. Having wheels that are both extremely stiff and lightweight is critical to stay competitive. The stiffness levels of these one-piece wheels are just insane. They completely eliminated brake shudder and flex compared to my old 3-piece wheels.
