Who We Are
Westbound® was founded in 2001 by a group of friends in Southern California with a passion for West Coast style and culture. As avid surfers, musicians, and travelers, they were inspired to design a clothing line for creative spirits like themselves.
Our name Westbound® reflects our commitment to forward movement and progression. We look ahead to the horizon, while staying true to our roots. Just as each day begins anew as the sun travels westward, we aim to start every morning with optimism and possibility.
At the core of our brand is a desire to spread positivity through fashion. Our laidback styles allow you to confidently be yourself, wherever the road takes you.

The spirit of exploration is at the heart of our brand. We find design inspiration from cultures across the globe, from Baja California to British Columbia and beyond. Vintage workwear shapes, Japanese fabrics, and Guatemalan textile patterns all influence our aesthetic.
While influenced by world travels, Westbound® is proudly manufactured right here in the United States. The majority of our products are sewn in our Los Angeles factories. By keeping production local, we’re able to closely oversee quality control and treat textile workers ethically. We use eco-friendly dyes and follow sustainable manufacturing practices.
