NBD® Dresses was founded in 2009 by Nicole Najafi and Nicky Hilton Rothschild in Los Angeles, California. The co-founders were inspired to create a brand that offered high-quality, well-made dresses at accessible price points. Nicole brought her keen eye for detail and fit from her background in the finance world, while Nicky contributed her impeccable sense of style as a fashion icon.
Together, they set out to establish NBD® as a leader in fashion-forward dresses and jumpsuits. The name NBD® stands for “No Big Deal”, encapsulating their vision to make standout, attention-grabbing dresses available to all women.

Nicole also oversees our social channels, building an empowering community of bold, unapologetic women. Through uplifting messaging and body positive imagery, she cultivates a brand identity focused on inclusivity.
Nicky Hilton Rothschild
Nicky Hilton Rothschild co-founded NBD® as Creative Director lending her expertise in style and fashion. As a contemporary fashion icon, Nicky contributes invaluable insights on trends and timeless style.
