Our History
Legend Force® was founded in 2001 by a group of engineers who were frustrated with the quality of outdoor power equipment available at the time. They knew that homeowners deserved better tools – ones made with quality materials, durable construction and intuitive designs.
So this team set out to create a line of outdoor power equipment that lived up to the needs of real DIYers. They wanted tools that could stand up to the toughest jobs without constantly breaking down. Equipment that was thoughtfully engineered for optimal balance, comfort and control. Machines packed with professional-grade power to muscle through the most demanding tasks.
Their goal was to empower consumers to take charge of their outdoor spaces with confidence. To eliminate the hassle, fatigue and frustration that often came with tackling heavy-duty yard work. After years of research, testing and refining prototypes, Legend Force® introduced our first tools in 2004. We started with three hardworking models – a rear-tine tiller, heavy-duty edger and high-torque string trimmer. Legend Force® products are designed, engineered and tested right here in the USA. Our corporate headquarters is located just outside of Columbus, Ohio.
Being based in the American heartland helps keep us connected to the people we serve. Our team of designers and engineers live on their own plots of land and tackle DIY projects during their free time. So they understand the real challenges homeowners face when maintaining their yards and gardens.
Our 140,000 square foot facility houses our executive offices, R&D lab, manufacturing center and warehouse. This centralized location allows us to oversee the entire product development process from initial concept to final quality assurance testing under one roof. It also enables us to ship orders efficiently to customers across North America.

- The BeastTM Series: Our most powerful rear-tine tillers designed for contractors and frequent gardeners with large properties. Features high-torque engines up to 10 HP, electric start and heavy-duty tines.
- Compact Series: Lightweight, maneuverable tillers for small property owners. Features 6-8 HP engines and fold-down handles for easy storage.
- The WarriorTM: Our mid-range model built to handle substantial properties. Has many commercial features like electric start and adjustable tilling width but in a more compact size.
Legend Force® Augers
Our gas-powered augers take the back-breaking work out of digging holes.
- Power DiggersTM: High-torque commercial-grade augers with engine power up to 10 HP and bit diameter options from 6 to 18 inches. Can dig up to 3 feet deep.
- Compact Handhelds: Lightweight 1-person augers with 52cc engines and 8-10 inch bits. Ideal for fence posts and plantings.
Legend Force® Edgers
Our commercial-grade edgers deliver precision cuts along borders and sidewalks.
- Razor Series: Ultra powerful V-blade edgers with 79-173cc engines. Cut 4 inches deep and adjusts for leveling.
- Compact Series: Affordable 46cc edgers for small properties. Cut 2 inches deep.

- Blizzard BossTM Series: High-performance 2 and 3-stage snow blowers with heavy-duty augers, steel chutes and power steering.
